Charter North operate the latest design and technology in off road 4WD tour vehicles. While traveling on some of Australia’s most rugged and remote terrain, you will be comforted by climate control, comfortable forward facing seats and quiet acoustics, allowing us to converse freely as we travel. Our vehicles are fitted with custom suspension upgrades and specialized off road equipment to improve your comfort and safety even further.
Our tour groups can range from one to nine travelers as our tour vehicles are licensed to carry up to nine passengers. We have two tour vehicles, one being a 200 series Toyota GXL that seats up to six passengers, another being a Toyota commuter seating up to nine passengers. Please contact us for further information on which vehicle will suit your groups tour.
Safety and communication won’t be an issue with our mobile satellite communications wherever and however we travel. Our vehicles combine with purpose built off road trailers, specifically engineered to carry all of our vital supplies and handle the exceptionally tough conditions they endure. As the Kimberley, Kakadu, Arnhemland, Karijini and other destinations we travel are quite remote with limited supplies, careful consideration to food storage and management is absolutely essential. Our trailers have approximately 350 liters of cold storage space, with further cold space in our car fridges to keep food fresh and drinks cold. We also carry 100 liters of potable water for consumption and domestic use, with enough remaining capacity for the carriage of all tour gear and guests baggage.
