Managing Director, Communications
Alina Baldrich
Alina has been living in Darwin since 2011. She was lucky to begin travelling with her family at a very young age, experiencing different cultures all over the world from close range. Many holidays were spent camping and exploring nature, awakening Alina’s passion for the natural environment. Whilst travelling Australia extensively, Alina fell in love with Northern Australia, met Greig and decided to stay.
Alina’s studies in business administration & marketing and post grad degree in tourism management, allow her together with Greig, to maintain the shaping and direction of Charter North. Her expertise in international marketing also allows her to manage all of Charter North’s in house online and offline marketing. Alina completed her Master Thesis on the topic of “sustainable tourism development in the Kimberley Region”, a topic very close to her heart.
Alina also enjoys accompanying guests on Charter North 4WD Tours as a host whenever time permits. However, Alina’s main role in Charter North is with bookings, administration and marketing. Alina or Greig will be your first contact when booking your Charter North tour.

Professional Tour Guide
Sean Oloughlin
Sean is from Western Australia originally and has been dodging the southern winters for many years while guiding groups through Kakadu, the Top End, Arnhem Land and the Kimberley. Sean loves the flora and fauna of our Northern Australian environments, and is inclined to stop the vehicle any chance he gets to give guests a closer look. Sean is another rarely found tour guide who loves his guiding lifestyle so much that he is still out there enthusiastically guiding groups after many years. Sean’s guiding experience has afforded him the skills to provide guests with exceptionally unique tour experiences with lots of stories to match. Sean is a well-travelled character and is also known to bring out the guitar around the camp fire occasionally, depending on the level of interest of course! We are very excited about Sean joining our well rounded tour team.
Professional Tour Guide & Photographer
Heath Whiley
Heath spent a lot of his childhood camping in country Victoria, where his love for the Australian bush manifested. After completing a uni degree and living in the big smoke for a few years, he couldn’t resist the call of Australia’s Outback. So he headed North to Darwin in 2009 to become a tour guide. He has spent the last 8 years predominately guiding throughout the top end of the Northern Territory, and also in the Kimberley and Central Australia. Australia’s great Northern landscapes have inspired Heath to develop his photography skills, and he is now an accomplished photographer who is happy to share his knowledge of photography with tour guests.
Professional Tour Guide
Daniel Blatchford- “Dan”
Dan has been working in the tourism industry in various capacities for almost two decades, and has been a good friend and colleague of GT ever since. He first discovered his passion for tour guiding and the Top End in 2001, through leading small group tours of Northern Australia & the Australian West Coast. Dan loves the diverse and challenging working environment of a Safari Guide, and quickly developed a fascination and deep knowledge of the destinations he is guiding in. Due to his skill set, Dan was recruited as Tourism Development Officer for the Northern Land Council, a role that allowed him to deepen his local & cultural knowledge through working with indigenous groups. Since 2006 when he based himself in Darwin, Dan has been guiding exclusively in the Top End, and has maintained a long lasting relationship with Charter North. Dan enjoys sharing his passion with Charter North’s tour guests, encouraging them to learn and really experience the special places they are visiting, in addition to the fun aspects of their holiday.
